Our department was renamed as the Department of Distribution Management in 2016. It was previously known as the Department of Industrial Management from 2000 to 2004 and the Department of Logistics Management from 2005 to 2015. We believe that these changes are necessary to gain the approval and acknowledgement from the industry and society. In addition, we deliver courses that emphasize both theory and practice.
We are committed to nurturing talent in the fields of new retail, logistics, and social marketing. Our curriculum is grounded in the application of information technology and the development of professional skills and knowledge. We focus on cultivating expertise in smart business operations and distribution management to prepare our students for the future of commerce.
We employ innovative teaching methods to enhance active learning and bolster students’ abilities in problem-solving, decision-making, reasoning, and creativity. Our curriculum is enriched with diverse activities such as group projects and competitions, field trips to businesses, practical exercises in store design and management, establishing e-commerce platforms, engaging in social media marketing, and internship opportunities. These practical experiences are designed to harmonize theoretical knowledge with real-world application, enabling students to integrate and apply their learning effectively.
